Randolph’s Mini Hoof Farm is the original site of Mini Silky Fainting Goats in Texas.  We are located in Weatherford, Texas just west of historical Fort Worth.  Our farm is dedicated to producing top quality Mini Silkies while practicing good animal husbandry for all of our goats.  Our mini silkies are fully registered with the Miniature Silky Fainting Goat Association. No kid will be registered for at least two months to ensure that standards for this breed have been met.  We worm our herd on a regular schedule, as well as, administer any yearly shots necessary to keep them healthy.

     Randolph’s Mini Hoof Farm was established in 1998.We began our adventure in special livestock by raising Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys.  A few years later, we were introduced to the fairly new breed of Mini Silky Fainting goats by Renee & Steve Orr at Sol-Orr Farm in 2005.  We began our breeding program in 2006 and have never looked back.      Mini Silky Fainting goats are a unique breed and have their own standards.  This breed carries the myotonic gene.  Not all Mini Silkies will have this gene as some were bred with Nigerian goats in order to get the height requirement needed to meet the standard. Does should ideally be 22.5 inches or under and bucks 23.5 or under at the withers and must not exceed 25 inches. The coat of these exciting goats should eventually be long and silky.Having head furnishings is an additional plus for this breed.  Their color will vary from white & brown to black & white and anywhere in between. With lots of love and labor, we strive to produce the very best of this breed.
